• Responsible for all computer-based system supporting the Operational areas of the Company including: Distribution, Customer Service, Manufacturing and Marketing. Major accomplishments included: Requirements definition, design and coordination of testing/implementation efforts for a new Distribution system involving MIS, Distribution personnel and the USPS. First in-house system to utilize bar coding and a Dec MicroVax. Managed a team of systems consultants in the analysis and design and justification of a major order processing and Information retrieval system using the IBM System/38.

• Responsible for managing a Systems Development team of six professionals in the development of an IDMS-based Order Information System to support the Sales and Customer Service areas of the company. Major accomplishments included: Activity Planning, Resource loading, Staff administration, coordinate activities between DBA, Tech Services and Systems Development groups. Technical responsibilities included: Lead Systems Architect, primary technical consultant, establishment of technical standards.
