This client recognized the need to migrate these critical
applications over to a more stable platform and also to make use of the many
features available through the Windows platform. The task was to re-write
the CRMS application into PowerBuilder v4. As part of this project,
interfaces to MS Word were developed using DDE and OLE functionality.

Network installation of PB 4 and Watcom SQL Server for Netware needed to be
done. Installed and Configured ODBC driver. Connectivity to the SQL Server
was via the IPX protocol.

Analysis, Design, Development and Implementation of a Positive Pay application developed in dBASE IV. This application interfaced
to their Accounts Payable package and produced an upload file for the
client's Bank in order to authorize check payment. Also had the ability to
track the history of the check and void checks.

Analysis, Design, Development and Implementation of Corporate Resolution Management System (CRMS). The application was written
in dBASE IV and interfaced with MS Word to produce and track the progress of
Corporate Resolutions. Complete history and workflow was stored so that
signatories could be tracked and managed.

Analysis, Design, Development and Implementation of a
mission-critical application. The US Cash Management System (USCMS) was
developed in dBASE IV. This application eliminated the necessity and cost
for many bank generated reports and associated manual procedures to ensure
that the cash accounts for subsidiaries balanced to the Master Concentration
account. The application included all functions necessary to perform the
data import, daily, weekly and monthly processing and automated exception
control reports.
